Book Report Information
At-Home Book Reports
Students will be required to do 3-4 at-home book reports this year. Students, with teacher approval, will choose their own book. In general the schedule will be as follows: Week 1: Pick a book; Weeks 2 & 3: Read the book; Week 4: Work on the project; and, Week 5: Present your project.
BOOK REPORT #1 - Fiction Book
Choice of book due on or by: Mon., Sept. 13th
Chapter Log/Reading progress will be checked on Mon., Sept. 20th, 27th
Book read by: Thurs., Sept. 27th
BOOK REPORT #2 - Biographies
For this second book report, students will be reading biographies and creating speeches (or oral presentations) about the person's life and accomplishments. Students will follow teacher-directed instructions and suggestions on how to plan, organized, and execute the sharing of information orally. A model process will be done in class.
